Community Consultation Results
A Community Consultation questionnaire was sent out in October 2021 to understand in greater depth, the role of the Town Council, how the community would prefer to receive local news and information and what the residents of Brough and Elloughton would like to see going forward in terms of activities and events, plus their preferences with regard to the aesthetics of the town.
With a higher than average response to such a consultation, the results provide a good representation of the residents’ viewpoints and preferences, all of which we will use constructively to develop our new Mission Statement and to incorporate into the Town Council’s forthcoming plans.
The results have been collated and presented to give as accurate a picture as we can as to how the community feels about issues regarding the communication channels the Council uses, such as Social Media, The Petuaria Press etc, along with what the community would like to to see more of in terms of events and activities and the installation and upkeep of green and communal spaces.
