TTRC - Skillings Lane, Brough - 7th May 2024

National Gas Network will soon be carrying out planned work in the area to upgrade a gas main in Brough. This work is essential to keep the gas flowing to local homes and businesses today, and to make sure the gas network is ready to transport green gases such as hydrogen, so we can all play our part in an affordable and sustainable energy future.

The mains replacement project, which has been planned in close collaboration with East Riding of Yorkshire Council is due to begin Tuesday 7th May and scheduled for 4 weeks.

During the work, due to the location of the gas main and to keep residents and engineers safe, we will need to implement a road closure at the railway lines on Skillings Lane.

Residents and businesses close to the works have been informed of the disruption, and access will be maintained where possible.

New 558 Brough Town Service - Elloughton to Brough, via South Cave, Morrisons and Aldi.

Resurfacing of Moor Road, Brough - Estimated 11th April 2023

East Riding of Yorkshire Council will commence on the annual surface dressing programme on Moor Road, Brough from 11th April 2023 (weather dependant). Works are expected to be completed by September 2023.
