Town Council Property and Services
The Town Council carries out a range of services and functions. It has an important role in promoting the area, representing its interests and supporting the work of different groups in the community. More specifically it:
Organises community events, such as, the Art Exhibition and Christmas Tree Festival
Maintains a park, open spaces and the War Memorial
Provides many public seats, litter bins, grit bins and noticeboards
Maintains two bus shelters
Commissions Christmas Lights and manages 53 lighting columns
